For chicken wings, of course, we will use chicken wings. It’s completely your choice to choose from shoulder end, real chicken wings or winglet part. But what is important is to clean it. Well, there are a few follicles there that you need to pluck and remove.
Use a fork or knife and make cuts in the chicken for the absorption of sauce. After cleaning and washing it, the next step is to dry it entirely so that the marination sticks on top of it. So, wipe it very well and let it dry completely.
Let’s move on to the marination. We’ll need some honey, soy sauce, chili oil, and, most importantly, some garlic paste to marinate the chicken. You can also use some molasses or brown sugar in place of honey. Adding soy sauce will reduce the need to add any extra salt to it.
Mix this well, and you’ll notice that it has become a nice and thick liquid that will stick all over the chicken wing. The next thing that goes in is the chicken wings.
