Whether it’s a hot or cold winter’s day, we drink tea every time with pleasure. Moreover, you need tea simply to relax in the evening after work. It’s something we enjoy throughout our lives. It’s a simple drink that takes little effort but makes a huge difference to how your day goes or how you relax at the end of the day. While there are many ways to enjoy your favorite beverage, these three methods will start you with the basics of making tea in your culture.

Black Tea

The first in the list of types of teas is black tea. For the black tea, take 2 cups of water. And it’s going to be a very nice, flavourful black tea. Depending on the number of glasses of tea you’re making or cups of tea you want to make, you can add the quantity of water. 

Take one large piece of ginger and a piece of cinnamon. Add the pounded ginger and the cinnamon once the water comes to a good boil. Next, you can add 1 to 2 teaspoons of tea powder.

Let it boil for a few minutes. Then, add a few leaves of mint to give it a nice flavor. Keep the flame on medium. After adding the mint leaves, boil for another minute.

Turn off the stove. Strain the tea. Add about 1 to 2 teaspoons of honey or sugar; you can adjust the sweetness according to your taste. Your black tea is ready. Serve it nice and hot.

Mixed Spice Tea

For the mixed spice tea, first, make the tea spice powder. Add small pieces of dried ginger, about five cardamoms, half a teaspoon of peppercorns, a few cloves, and a few small pieces of cinnamon in a mixer jar. Grind everything together.

You can make this tea spice powder in small batches and store it in an airtight container. However, it’s always nice to make it fresh and use it for your child. For the mixed spice tea, take one cup of water in the saucepan, and add half a teaspoon of the tea spice powder. You can adjust the spice powder according to the quantity of tea you’re making. After adding the spice powder, boil it for about a minute.

After a minute, add 2 teaspoons of tea granules. You can add tea powder, granules, or tea leaves, whichever suits your taste. Once the tea comes to a good boil after two minutes, add 1 cup of milk, keep the flame on medium, and boil it for about 2 to 3 minutes. Add about two teaspoons of sugar. Mix it nicely.

The mixed spice tea smells fantastic with the fresh masala powder. It’s nice to have different choices instead of the usual tea all the time. Once the tea comes to a good boil, turn off the stove. Strain it and serve it hot.

Ginger Cardamom Tea

For the ginger cardamom tea, take one cup of water to the saucepan. To this, add one piece of ginger nicely pound. You can add the pounded ginger or one piece of ginger to give it a mild flavor. Add one cardamom. Boil the water for about a minute.

To this, add 2 teaspoons of tea powder. So if you’d like it nice and strong, add another extra spoon after adding the tea. Let it boil for about 2 minutes.

Now I’m going to add three fourth cups of milk. Keep the flame on medium and allow the tea to boil. When the tea comes to a good boil, add the sugar. I’m adding 1 1/2 teaspoons of sugar. You can adjust the sugar according to your taste. After one boil, turn off the stove. Strain the tea and serve it hot.
